Natasa Sokolovich is currently Executive Director, Telemedicine and Senior Director, Affiliated Physician Services, UPMC Physician Services Division. The UPMC Health System, located in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania is a $11 billion global health and integrated clinical delivery system with 50,000 employees, 21 hospitals and over 400 doctors' offices and outpatient sites. UPMC also maintains its own health insurance services division and an international and commercial services division.

As Executive Director, Telemedicine, Natasa is responsible for leading the strategic expansion of UPMC's Telemedicine program. During 2012 the UPMC Telemedicine program successfully expanded existing TeleStroke, TeleDermatology and TelePsychiatric services throughout Western Pennsylvania across several UPMC and non-UPMC Hospital and clinic locations. In mid-2012, UPMC launched its first dedicated Teleconsult Center to provide rural patients with access to multiple Clinical Specialist Services in a dedicated clinical location within the patient’s rural community. In early 2013 and 2014, UPMC expanded this first Teleconsult Center location to include two additional sites. This has resulted in significant savings in travel time and travel expenses. In addition to expanding access to Specialist services, UPMC also expanded around the clock access to low-acuity care through a new on-line, convenience care platform called “UPMC AnywhereCare.”

As Senior Director, Affiliated Physician Services, Natasa led the launch and implementation of a new portfolio of services called- UPMC Practice Solutions. UPMC Practice Solutions extends a-la-carte services to assist private Practice Physicians throughout Western Pennsylvania. The program includes services such as: Electronic Health Record Solutions, Answering services, Transcription services and various other business solutions. Since inception, the UPMC Practice Solutions has enrolled over 800 participating providers who utilize the services. In addition to the UPMC Practice Solutions program, Natasa also coordinated the partnership with the Western Pennsylvania Regional Extension Center- “PA Reach West” (Federal Program through the Office of National Coordinator) as a sub recipient working to assist “preferred primary care providers” with adopting an Electronic Health Record and becoming “meaningful users” of this technology.

Prior to joining UPMC Health System, Natasa spent over sixteen years working in various Leadership positions in Pricing, Contracting, and Sales & Marketing in the Pharmaceutical and Biotech Industries. Her professional experience includes working for Johnson & Johnson, Roche Laboratories and prior to joining UPMC- working for Enzon Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as Manager of Operations. At Enzon Pharmaceuticals, Natasa was responsible for Enzon's Regional Account Management Team, product pricing & marketing, as well as, contracting with Hospital Systems, National Wholesalers and GPOs. In late 2009 and early 2010, Natasa assisted Enzon's Leadership with the successful transition of the company's pharmaceutical business to new ownership under Sigma-Tau Pharmaceuticals.

Natasa's education includes a dual major, Bachelor of Science, Magna cum Laude degree from the University of Pittsburgh, as well as, a Masters in Healthcare Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University's H. John Heinz III College. In addition, Natasa received her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and is licensed to practice Law in Pennsylvania. Natasa was born in Slovenia and is fluent in Serbo-Croatian. She resides in the city of Pittsburgh with her family.
