Dr. Alan Roga is responsible for the strategic direction, capabilities, and product development for Teladoc’s service offerings to hospitals, health systems, retail clinics, and physician groups. Under his direction, Teladoc has achieved record growth in the health systems market, supported by its fully configurable telehealth solution.
Dr. Roga was founder and chief executive officer of StatDoctors, a national telehealth company serving individual member-patients through agreements with organizations including hospitals and health systems. He led the inception of StatDoctors to its acquisition by Teladoc in 2015. Dr. Roga is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Medicine and a diplomat of the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
He holds a medical degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Medicine and a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Albany. He is also a board member of Send me on Vacation, a non-profit that sends cancer survivors and their families on vacation.
