Wesley Valdes, DO, serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Intensive Monitoring International. Since 2007, he has been Medical Director of Telehealth Services at Intermountain Healthcare, Inc., where he is responsible for Telehealth efforts across the Intermountain system. In this role, he helps Intermountain physicians and clinical teams to identify and develop the best methods and services to deliver patient care through Telehealth technology. Before joining Intermountain, he was director of the Center of Telehealth and assistant professor of clinical surgery at the University of Illinois. Dr. Valdes was the Founder and President of Industry Communications Inc., served as chair of the American Telemedicine Association Research Task Force, and served as acting Chief Technical Officer for the non-profit organization Institute for Clinical Quality and Value. He has served on a number of medical and scientific advisory boards, including the Scientific Advisory Board of BodyTel Scientific, Inc. He is extensively published in medical publications and newsletters. Dr. Valdes received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1999. He completed an internship at the Olympia Fields Osteopathic Medical Center in 2000, and completed his residency at the Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, IL, in 2003.
